21 Day Fix Extreme Review

EXTREME FITNESS. SIMPLE EATING. SERIOUS RESULTS. Warning: This is not for the faint of heart or for the beginner!

After I completed a few rounds of 21DF, I was starting to get bored with the exercise videos. 21 Day Fix Extreme was launched and timing could not have been more perfect for me to graduate to 21DF Extreme.

The Workouts:

I do not recommend the 21 day fix extreme if you have not completed the 21 day fix yet. The exercises are much more strenuous and more difficult. Although I have done several rounds of the original fix, I struggled this time and had to follow the modifier for most of my first round in the extreme version, and I drastically reduced the weights I was using from the original to the extreme.

Every workout uses weights or resistance bands, so there are no workouts where you "get a break". They target multiple groups at the same time and some of the strength exercises literally took my breath away from the movements. I enjoyed all of the resistance band training and prefer the Extreme Pilates over the original.

All of the workouts are still 30 minutes or less but they definitely torch a lot more calories in this program.

Changes to the Meal Plan:

Most of the basics from 21DF carry over to the extreme, but it does offer an alternative meal plan. This meal plan is the bikini body/Competition and it rotates between a "regular" days and low-carb/no-carb/higher protein. If you are like me and live for your "yellow" days, you will need some serious will-power to stay on track.
